At Haslam Park we believe that homework should provide opportunities to enrich the opportunities that our children receive in school.
Homework should not be a cause of stress or anxiety for children or families.
The most important homework you can do with you child is helping them to read at home EVERY NIGHT!
Children who read at home do really well in school because reading is one of the most important things that we learn in school.
Your child will only change their book if their planner is signed and they have understood their book. Your child may bring the same book home if they need a little bit longer on the book.
Spelling Shed - It’s so much fun! Please find login details in the back of your child's planner.
Times Tables Rock Stars – Please look for the log in information which is in your child's planner.
It would be great if you could spend some time with your children doing these fun family activities.
Please be aware this will be shared with the class but may not always be formally marked.
